It wasn't shot on a Hollywood background, huh?

On the Young Indy documentary at the end SPF says that nothing was shot on a hollywood background, but if you watch Daredevils of the Desert the night scenes with Indy and T.E. look very fake. Especially the sky. As if shot on a blue/green screen. (Shorty) Grins. Regards.
