I for one have no Indy-style fedora. Mine is a grey one from
Tirard Freres of Paris, made probably in the 30s or 40s. It has
a 1 3/4" ribbon, 2 3/4" brim, and stands about 5 1/4" tall bashed.
I got it at an antique store for $25 and had a new liner put in.
It's good but wearing out, being so old. But I wear it anyway during
inclement weather, such as we are experiencing today in Minnesota.
