: hey gang,
: Just a question here, how many of you have considered actually
: rounding out your fedora collection to include other colors? Anyone here aside from me wear them with regularity to work or social gatherings? Not just the rusty brown of Indy's fedora, but grey (which Indy also wore) black, tan, etc.?
: You'd be surprised how it finishes a business suit or a casual Fridays ansemble.
: Am I alone in this desire to bring back hat wearing as a standard of fashion?
: Or are we all concerned that while being confused for Indiana Jones at a distance might be fun, being confused with Sam Spade, Dick Tracy and Elliot Ness might be unpleasant?

I've been considering getting more fedoras in different colors for a while now. I live in southern California which is, I believe, the baseball cap capitol of the world. I've always thought that they look stupid myself. I agree that a fedora looks great with a suit. I think they look fine with a T-shirt as well. As far as the hat and fashion thing goes, I've been told that the service men of world war 2 resented being told to "put your cover back on". After the war was over they said to hell with hats. It does coincide with the decline of hat wearing. Anyway, I agree with what everyone else on the forum says, "screw em!". What do I care what everybody else thinks.
