Don't forget that there are two width markings.

The first letter stands for the heel fit, the second for the width of the boot. For example, I wear a 10 1/2 C/E (10 1/2 is also my REGULAR size!).
Make sure the heel fits.

: This has come up numerous times on here, but I followed advice from Patterson and went to a boot shop to get my feet measured. I was told my foot was 11 1/2 and my width was a "B". He said I had a narrow foot. Normally I wear 11 in shoes. I never have owned boots like the Aldens before so this is all new to me. So based on what I have learned from this forum I should go with a size 11 B for the Aldens. Does this seem OK? I realize to I should have no problem with exchanges within reason. I just like to avoid hassles. Thanks in advance.
