Saving Private ryan is a movie depicting the true horrors of war it was an incredible film. What makes a film is how realistic the director makes it.
It does not depict war in a positive way, as does the john wayne "lock and load"
movies, However it recognizes the truth and honors the self sacrifice that our soldiers gave. As in greek tragedys' which are today consider timeless tales, the play-writes depicted tragic events that are true to life. The movie in my opinion was one of the most realistic modern day tragedy to date.

PS. Leonardo Dicaprio is the epitomy of queer, he is what every man should strive not to be...
