I don't know much about the FS lamb (MK told me once that it seemed thinner than the Wested lamb) but I can tell you that my Wested lamb has been through two Syracuse NY winters, where the temp is guaranteed to go below 20 F, and it has held up just fine throughout all of that time, even with all the street salt and hail. In fact, it still looks almost new.
