I've heard a lot about the deer and have only heard good things. Patterson posted a while ago about some "endurance" testing he did on both lamb and deer samples and hands down the deer out preformed the lamb. Plus the deer breaths better than the lamb so it can be worn comfortably in both hot and cold temps and I hear tale of a highway patrolman in Cali who only wears and swears by FS's deer and it's durablity. Plus, just feeling the suppleness of the deer makes you fall in love with it.
