I havn't painted mine yet, but I plan too. I'm only going to paint the grips. First I'll use a clear primer paint on the grips, and then I'll paint it with a brown acrylic paint of the right shade. Then, when that's all done, I'm going to paint the little S&W logo gold. Just be sure not to paint the place on the grips where the metal would be, such as along the outer edge of the grips and the screw heads. Good luck and post of pics when you're done.
