: Its far too late now. Ford can't do an Indy role now.

: I love Ford's work.. but I do NOT want to see him running about as an old, grey-haired man that's either -trying- to be a 30ish year-old charactor, or, which is trying to mentor some 9 year old kid, you know? They waited too long. Its a rotten idea now. The only hope is to add more to the Young Indy plot to fill the gap between Hollywood Follies and Raiders.. and use Sean Patrick Flannery for it at that, not "yet another" name. Change the face of Indy too much, and you become as lousy as Batman did. I mean come on.. they've already had FOUR! (River Pheonix, Cory, Sean, Ford).

"Never say never again" may not have been the greatest Bond movie, but it wasn't because Sean Connery was too old. The Obi One Kenobi character has always been interesting, young or old. I'd like to see an older Indy adventure set in the forties or fifties. The Indiana Jones charater to my knowledge didn't have magical power to keep him from aging. We all get older everyday. The one thing I do agree with is that all the young actors are punks. I don't believe I'm watching a real person when watching them act. I believe I'm watching an actor. They would be hard pressed to find a replacement with real stature. William Holden is gone. Steve McQueen is gone. Brad Pitt, give me a freakin' break.
