You're only rehashing points I already made. I've already said that the ship would probably bottomed out, or run aground. And your photo only solidifies my point regarding propellors being above the bottom of the ship, meaning they could theoretically still rotate once the boat is "grounded".

It's funny though, that a man who "knows boats" feels that you'd be pushed away by the rotating propellors. Seems to me the same propellors are used when the ship is going in reverse, hence they would suck you TOWARDS them. Which I feel makes the scene even more possible. Maybe the ship "ran aground" and was trying to reverse back into deeper water. Sounds unlikely, but not TOTALLY impossible. Now the bag strap/gun barrel scene is a whole different story.
