Yes, they are very expensive. Point: they are the shoes worn by Indiana Jones. If that's what you're looking for and that's what you're wanting, then "yes" it's worth every dime. There is no "real" alternative. In building my gear collection, I haven't thought twice . . . I 100% intend to buy the shoes. Why? They are the shoes worn by Indiana Jones shoes. If you don't really mind wearing an alternative that barely resembles them, then there are plenty out there. But if the genuine article is available, then I'll surely purchase it. That's my feeling if you really intend on building an authentic wardrobe replica.
