You can forget that one. These shoes are from their orthopedic collection and were around long before Indy was created. These are relatively inexpensive compared to their bread and butter dress shoes.
That is what they are known for. I have some of their hand sewn mocassins(penney loafers) that were $400. This was a tough pill to swallow until I did the math and I am way ahead. Bass Weeguns were $80 a pair and I was blowing right through them. My Aldens will out last another 10 pair of the regular store loafers. I would bet most people that buy the Indy boots could care less that Indy wore these and are just longtime loyal Alden customers.
