: Not saying I'm an expert like Fedora or Dakota but I think the 2 3/4X 2 5/8 is more correct but it really depends on your head size. Patterson's head is much bigger than HF's so the brim would be adjusted for his large head, though I don't think this plays into factors in what you're asking. Either could be correct, depending on your opinions on the Raider's hat. There exists a lot of people out there who have varying opinions on the width of the Raider's hat so it's really up to you to decide how big you want your brim to be. But if you asked me, I'd say 2 3/4 X 2 5/8. My PB hat has those dimensions and my head size is about 7 3/8 (near and about HF's head size.) and my hat looks dead on for Raiders. Especially now cause it's still covered in dirt from the car wreck.
