i need a hat expert's help again please..

ok I guess Patterson's not around, so i was wondering if
someone else can better explain his instructions on Indygear on
dimensionally cutting a hat brim. I don't understand what to do
after putting the first two chalk lines.

Or, does someone else know how to do this a different way?
