You should note that the LL Bean pants some in a number of styles, reverse pleat, forward pleat, plain front, classic fit, natural fit, and these will have a different width leg, the natural fit being larger than the classic fit. My classic fit, forward pleat, taupe, Year-Round Wool Trouseers measure 9" across the cuff when folded, with a 30" inseam. That's not very big.
