The fact is that it was the first action\adventure game to have ACTION AND ADVENTURE! It is also the best. Lara's rank still holds to this day, but I predict that Indy in the Infernal Machine will de-throne her.
Yes, I think Tomb Raider does belong in every Indyfan's heart. You may remember, before the game came out, that many similarities between Indy and Tomb Raider was observed. The roots of her adventures (Indy) have not at all been ignored.
