Ever looked at the storyboards to Raiders. I found something interesting....

Hey everyone,

Have any of you ever looked at the storyboards to Raiders in detail? If you can, grab a copy of "From Star Wars to Indiana Jones" and just take a gander at the Raiders boards.

It seems like Lucas and Spielberg originally intended Indy to wear riding boots like The Rocketeer and Rick O'Connell. The boards of him running from the boulder and sliding under the truck have him drawn with the high leather riding boots common to the period.

Just an observation. Good thing they decided to switch to the lower boots.
