: When is too much too much? Does anyone here put their obession (i.e. fandom) before anything else in their life? Like talking to people they call their best friends? Are people on this board the first to know about events in your life? Would you spend the few free moments of your day you have posting and reading things here in this forum before e-mailuing or calling a close friend? I'm not saying that it's a bad thing, or even that it's wrong, I was just wondering if this is common behavior of most people on this board. Thanks for all your help if anyone cares to repsond to my question, I truly do appreciate your time, especially since I"m not a regular by any means to this board. Thanks again to all of you :)

I'm not sure where you're going with this question, or even why. This is a hobby, nothing more. As with any hobby, it can be an obsession, but you're talking about an almost sick obsession here, and I'm not aware of anyone here who even remotely matches that description, all jokes and jabbing aside. Why would you even think this, considering your saying you'rea new comer and have only seen the surface of the exchanges here. I've been around here at Indyfan since 1997, and can only say that though things occasionally get "rough", it's treated as a hobby and a hobby alone. I'm not personally aware of anyone here putting family or friends before this interest. Regards. Michaelson
