Well I have ordered two from HJ my first was cut and it was cut just like the Crusade hat which u can tell is too much for a Raiders hat. Richard Swales told me in a letter he takes off 1/8 all around and an additional 1/4 on the sides. Since the brim is 2 7/8 initially, that leaves u with 2 3/4 * 2 1/2 on the sides. But he also wrote a letter to Patterson I believe stating that the fedora is 2 7/8 * 2 3/4 meaning only removing 1/8 from the sides. This might be how the Raiders hat was done. The second hat I got from HJ they screwed up and sent me a stock fedora, as in dome crown and brim upturned on all sides. So i have to modify it myself.
