: Talk about touchy! My whole point was that I disagree with the camp that says it always has to be the orignal maker, or it is not good. I wasn't targeting "Sir Richard" directly. I am sure the David Morgan whips are absolutely first rate, just not sure they deserve the price they command. From talking to David Morgan and Mark Allen on the phone, I was led to understand that they were made using virtually the same materials and methods.

I'm not even going to respond to his kindgergaren comments. Sounds like he is not that far removed from that grade in the first place.
