Hello chaps,it was i who sent my Herbie J to PBs for a complete rebuild,i am yet to get it back however,they are a bit backlogged with custom Indys at the moment.Before you go about washing it just remember that felt and saturation is a combination that will not help any taper problems.I suggest you contact Joe Jnr and tell him you have a fedora that needs a rebuild(im going for a complete rebuild,sweatband,ribbon and liner).Joe has quoted me $70.oo U.S plus shipping and to me that is pretty reasonable.

P.S i will let everybody know how the masters at PBs restore the"origina" from Herbie Js
: I'd like to hear how it turned out. And I also remember yet another HJ owner who mentioned that Joe refused to do work on an HJ.

: Anyway, I've already bought the hat stiffener and I have no patience, so if this doesn't work, I might send it to Joe, as well as buy a PB hat from him, but for now I've psyched myself up to do it myself. So considering that, is there anything I should keep in mind?
