The outfits that fans are assembling are what Indiana Jones is. If Spielberg and Lucas didn't care about his outfit, then they wouldn't have spent so bloody long having all the pieces to it commisioned to be built and designing it from drawings! Tell me, If Indiana Jones wore a baseball cap instead of a fedora and wore a jean jacket, would you like the movies as much as you do? Think about that.
