Indy's vision is his most developed sense. He could easily figure out how to avoid the deadly traps in the Peruvian temple. Especially the light trap was tricky. All Indy had to do was look carefully and he figured it all out. I noticed he also fingers a lot of things (floors, walls, the grail tablet, Elsa...) ;)
