Get the Fed. It's actually more of an authentic to the period fedora than the PB is..

Now I didn't say it looks more like the "Raiders" fedora than the PB does. Fedoras by definition are a soft felt hat. The Fed is a soft felt fedora. I think some of the bashing is from the long trip in the shipping box. Mine was slightly flattened on top from someone pushing the box in. It popped right back out no problem.
