PB or Akubra Federation

I have both. I really like both. You have to shape the FED yourself. The PB looks more like a Indy hat. Also at 7 5/8 I think the PB will accommodate you better. Bottom line is: If you have the bucks go for the PB. If you do order one there are some things you should consider:

1) PB's come rock hard. I held Patterson's out by the brim and it didn't bend. Now some like that. I don't care for it, so I had Joe go easy on stiffener.

2)The standard sweat band that comes with the PB is very wide at least 2". They have a narrow one. Better color too. I would ask for that.
