I think the chat idea is great.
The chat should definately support IRC. When there are lots of people chatting mIRC is the best program. You can download it from www.tucows.com
I can get a program that can be accessed from a website and with an IRC program. It's very cool. I don't have a permission to use it yet... It belongs to a major gaming site, but I know one of the owners pretty well... the chat program is worth about $300 so I don't want to use it without a permission.

Check it out and tell me what you think. It can be accessed via IRC too. irc.gamesnet.net
We could have scheduled events... the chat could be accessed from various Indy sites... I could set it up on my server and it could be also accessed from Indyfan.com if Michaelson likes the idea.
