So off topic it's not even funny, but hear me out anyway...

I own a 1987 Nissan Sentra, I just got it back from the mechanic because it wouldn't start (the fuel pump died) and now the damn brake lights won't work. It's not the bulb, because the running lights work, and it not the fuse for the same reason. I seem to recall them working before I took the car in. Did my mechanic, who my family has used for years, sabotage my car so that I have take it back in? Or is there any easy, relatively inexpensive way to fix my car without a full blown mechanic's assistance? Are any among us Indy Fans a mechanic? Can you help? Is the hokey-pokey REALLY what it's all about?
