People have been asking me for more info on the Herbert
Johnson fedora I am selling. Here are the specs I measured last
night:

unbashed crown height- about 5.5 inches

in front of hat: bottom of ribbon to top of pinch-4.25 inches

brim front and back edge to bottom of ribbon-2 3/4

brim side edges to bottom of ribbon-2 5/8

It is size 57 (7 1/8 US), it is a little darker than the pictures and
really a lot nicer than they show, and I am the original owner. I
purchased this hat directly from Herbert Johnson in the
beginning of this year. It carries the original bash that HJ gave it
and no major reshaping or trimming of the brim has been done
to this particular hat.

It might need a new liner, but other than that, in my opinion, it is
in very good to excellent condition. Opinions vary, however, so
please look at the pictures. I have worn it only to work and
home-it has been on no "adventures" so to speak of, I have pretty
much babied it because I paid so much for it in the beginning, I
didn't want to damage it. Unfortunately, I need the money, so
although I hate to see it go, I have to sell it. I have posted this to
the forum people first, but in a few days, if no one's interested, I'll
put it up on ebay.

I am NOTasking the original purchase price of $300 US, and you
don't have to wait for this to ship from the UK. I'd like to get about
2/3 of that, but I'm willing to negotiate. I'll ship it to the buyer in the
original box and all paperwork (if I still have the paperwork, I still
have to make sure, but I'm pretty sure I do).
