Fun to read the advance review from the forum's own "Hollywood Insider"!
Maybe things like vaccination scars are left visible to reinforce the movie's cheeseball "just like the Sat afternoon serials" quality.
I hope to give popcorn flicks the benefit of the doubt and just let them wallow in their ironical sense of fun.
You're right though; too much slapstick and somebody in the picture had better be wearing a Moe Howard doo, or it all wears thin quickly.
Hey, all the cornball just makes the gravitas attached to Indy movies that much more endearing, no?
Now, can we ask you for spoilers for Planet of the Apes and Spiderman?!?!?!?!
