If you are talking about what happened to the characters themselves-I have no idea! If you are talking about the people who PLAYED the characters, Willie (Kate Capshaw) married Steven Speilberg and has been in a few other movies since-and is still married. The kid who played Shorty (I don't know his name) did Goonies, and some other movies, then sort of disappeared from the big screen. I think he is a director now.....not sure

OH, and I would check on eBay for those books. That is about the only place I can think of.
