But I still don't understand how to run the dimensional cuts.

Patterson's pix shows how to start and end the cuts, but I'm still in the dark how to do the "blending in"....

Do you have any before and after pix about the actual cutting? Please

: Yesterday the delivery truck snuck the package in my front door when I wasn't looking. Thank goodness I'm off on Thursdays!

: It needed a very slight size adjustment, so onto the lampshade it went for a bit, worked great BTW. Wore it a good chunk of the day to help break it in some(who wouldn't!).

: Today I decided to bite the bullet and just lop off the edge some and make the dimensional cut. Kitchen shears work great for that and because I'm also refinishing some furniture, I grabbed me a piece of 220 grit and blended to perfection.

: I picked up some black grograin at the fabric store today just to check it out and the mid brown hat does look better with the darker ribbon.

: Overall, I think the Federation is a nice hat. A little stiff at first but once it breaks in some, I'm sure it will be fine.
: Much better feel to it then say the Temple, and half the cost.
