I, too, wear a 7 5/8" hat with a 6" crown. I got my PB with the 1 3/4" ribbon (in black) and it looks perfect. However, my crown is 6" at the sides AFTER bashing, about 5" from brim to top of pinch. Maybe you can use this info for scale in making your choice.

Follow Ups:
