Hey, just a sidenote, but when did the Mummy become so popular? The rush and the publicity of the Mummy Returns reminded me of all the hype surrounding the Phantom Menace. The theaters were packed, tickets were sold-out, and everybody even applauded! I mean, I understand why we like it so much (Indy-esque, archaeology), but why do all the other people? :P

P.S. Another observation. The new Mummy series has evolved far from the original Mummy horror flicks. It's now become strictly an action-fare! Very interesting...
