The leather jacket that he had one was very 80s or 90s -- the fit was wrong for the 30s (oversized), the leather was not smooth enough (you can see fingernail trails on it, like suede, when they are embracing in the house), and the style of the back, with psuedo-biswing things around the arms up to the top shoulder seam, are like nothing I've seen from the period --
