I don't mean to be rude but always remember, every time the box office record gets smashed it's partly due to inflation. Besides, let the bean counters squable over "what made how much". It's all marketing hype anyway. If you liked the movie, great. Enjoy it on it's own merits. As far as I'm concerned, the box office champ, "Titanic" blew in a big way. Economics will eventually kick it off the thrown, thank goodness. The fact that it holds "the record" is a sad reflection on the movie going public. Don't mind the rant.

: I think Big Red was trying to say that TPM had more longevity (in its first five days it made like $120-something million), and Mummy Returns' longevity will be determined next week.
