Spielberg and Lucas tap new writer to script Indy IV...will indy be battling drug dealers?

Since M. Knight has officially passed, spielberg and lucas (according to the force.net) have asked steven gaghan who wrote traffic to script indy iv.

Anyone have any thoughts on this choice? He's rumored to be very interested, but a script of his own just got greenlighted and he wants to direct it himself. The whole shebang is shooting for a release date of 2003. That sounds ambitious, but hell, the sooner the better.

Hopefully we'll be seeing Indy fighting opium dealers in China in the 1950's!! (just kidding, I hope that isn't the plot.)
