If you go to Petra, it is very easy to find a tour when there--not to mention cheap hostels and showings of pirated copies of LC. Truly an amazing place. Just remember to bring lots of water.

If leaving from Israel is it also possible to find English language tours in Jerusalsm or Tel Aviv. Going over the Allenby bridge, it isn't such a long trip.

Although Jordanians are incredibly friendly and Jordan is a lovely country, tours typically include Petra and Djurash (an ancient and HUGE Roman city) and not much else in Jordan--maybe Mt. Nebo, though there isn't a lot to see from there. The tours are most often done as part of a 'Holy Land Tour' that focuses on Israel.

: Are there still regular tours there? Or has that ended? Thanks.
