Thanks. So now we know NH pants are a safe bet, drape-wise. I know what you mean about trying to reproduce "the look". I've found pants that are close color-wise, but're just too damn tapered at the cuff. Then what happens is the pant legs bunch up and they even get caught sometimes on the boots when getting out of a car or whatnot. I really HATE having to bend down and make sure my pants legs are over my boot ankles every time I stand up.

This happens a lot less with the Aldens though, compared to say Doc Marten's, which have that moronic flap in the back. I guess it's there to help you pull the boots on, but I never use it and it's only function appears to be grabbing pants legs so you walk around looking like a dufus.
