A few movies that I'd include are:
The Four Feathers (1940)
The Man Who Would Be King
The Phantom
The Shadow (Some may argue but for my brother and I we'd include it as Indy-ish)
Romancing the Stone

I suppose if you're a masochist you can throw in those Allan Quatermain "adventures".
