Think about it!
Mola Ram is a spooky guy with a painted face and he cackles evil
laughter. He is up to NO good. He's mad like hell. He makes his exit
through a coffin-like trapdoor.
Baron Samedi is a spooky guy who handles snakes, he has a painted
face, and he too, laughs the same evil laugh. And he made his exit
through a coffin filled with snakes.

PS: Baron Samedi was of course James Bond's Voodoo lovin' enemy in
Live and Let Die!
