The de-evolution of Indy

The first reference to Indy's sexual morals was the scene in Raiders where a female student has "LOVE YOU" written on her eyelids. Indy looks confused, perhaps concerned for the girls mental health- had this scene been in TOD or LC, and not the imortal classic- Raiders, "Indy" would probably have appeared embarassed and raised a saliciously interested eyebrow... don't you just know it.... I'm saying in this post Indy was a model of morality in Raiders, and an inconsiderate slob in TOD and LC- also- that these two films were aimed at a younger audience, and are guilty of delivering an unedifying message to kids. When Indy says in Raiders to Dr. Brody "you think she'll still be with him?...his voice is choked with emotion. The bar scene , where Miriam confesses her love and heart-ache- Indy is clearly upset with himself, and admits his self loathing when he says "Trust Me". Think of the scene where the monkey is on Miriams shoulder, and Indy admires her- How sweet was that scene? And the kiss that's ENOUGH to send Indy to sweet sleep.. Now remember Temple of Doom where Indy and Capshaw were running back and forth into each others rooms, trying to escalte a dim, reptilian brain, male/ female attraction into a hot night of flesh- It was revolting! They tried to make it acceptable by giving it a comedic slant- portraying love as joke-great. Then things got worse in Last Crusade, as Indy- AND HIS FATHER (Sorry, Indy's Mom) just had to fornicate an evil NAZI female- they skipped the soothing comedy and flitation in that fist Indy- Doody SCENE and went straight to some hardcore tounge action..."Indy" the sex machine. I decided to write this post this afternoon, and in the interim viewed the Star Trek episode where they get transported to the evil alternate universe where Spock has a goatee and applies the "agonizer" to Mr.Leslie, assaination is the rule, and a captains woman is a disposable prostitute- This is what happened to Indiana Jones after Raiders of the Lost Ark- 180 degrees into the dark side. I beleive we need to admit it, and Micah should delete TOD and LC posts- Send a message to Lucas, Spielberg, Ford- Stop giving us pornography and give us back ---the good Indy....In other words, this forum is two thirds tainted.
