The father at the local church, Father Tony, I often had lunch with told me that Saint Peter the Apostle fished naked. Something about it being mentioned in the New Testament after Jesus rose again and Peter being "less clothed than the others around." Have to check my Bible and ask Father Tony's compatriots at the church about this.
Maybe nude was a way of "freeing the mind." Here in Arizona, it'd definately save some money on the cooling costs during the summer. (grin)
