A little cheaper, and you can buy them individually instead of all three.

Sound/picture: better than broadcast/cable TV, without the station logo in the corner. Pan-n-scan, not widescreen. Noticed the sound cuts out maybe twice, for a split second, on my LC DVD.

For the price, I'd recommend them. Keep in mind that the latest rumor on 'official' DVDs (thedigitalbits.com) has them coming out sometime in 2002.

: Has anyone bought the dvd trilogy on dvd? I noticed a bunch on ebay and wanted to see what the quality (picture/sound) of these imports is like. Any experiences or thoughts?
