: : I just got an email from Planet Hollywood about a sword being auctioned that was used in the filming of Raiders of the Lost Ark. It's not the Cairo swordsman's weapon as I expected, but a sword which I can't seem to place. Does anyone know what part of the film this sword was in?

: : Thanks,

: They are NOTORIOUS for putting bogus props in their displays. Brody and I both saw an A2 displayed as an authentic jacket used in Temple of Doom in one of their displays. They did have an original once upon a time, but Lucasfilms asked for it back. Their attitude was "Nobody will know the difference." My bet is that anything authentic was returned to Lucasfilms a long time ago, as it would have been strictly on loan.
