Who would be a fun director?
David Lynch? Yeah! In-joke-free Indy!
Should IJ break free of the safari-style garb?
Yeah! More tweed! Loved that Mystery of the Blues sweater!
"Raiders" pegged the character because it and he took the story at face value, irony-free. Temp and 2LiveCrusade didn't succeed as well because there was too much cutesy "Hi, I'm Indy and this is my whip" tone.
