How to Weather?

Hi
I got a really, really close Raiders Jacket, and the only thing I dont like about it, is that it isnt distressed/weathered. It was made by a company that does promo work for our company, and I realize it isnt that close, but I could alter it a bit and have a nice one.

So in so many words, how do you weather leather to get that "look"?
