Weh-heh-HELLLL, let me tell you! Summer releases used to be premiered later than that - as in, well into
the summer, after school was out (whereas people still have finals in
late May). BUt that all changed in 1977 when 20th Century Fox released
an odd little sci-fi flick (that they were seemingly embarrassed by) on
this date. And the movie was...uh, the movie was.wait a minute, I'm
thinking, the movie waaaas...OH, something like..Logan's War..No, Logan's Running,
or was it Silent...Wars, naah. ? Star Odessy?? THX Eleven hundred Wars? Damn!! Oh well, the name
escapes me, but If you went to movies circa 1977 and early '78 you may
have heard of it. Maybe someone here knows.
