My grandpa used to make great roast pork before he passed on.

He learned how while he was a cook aboard a sub during WWII. I regret never asking him about those days while he was alive, but my mom said he never ever spoke about those times to anyone, even his own family. He did tell some stories to my younger sister and cousin, and to my dad.
