I'm going off of memory here, but in 'Raiders,' I think he probably
had at least the following:

plane tickets, sandbags, glasses, gloves, the Browning high-power,
ammunition, a flask of booze (in the novelization, anyway), the money
he gave to Marion (which she promptly lost -- just like a dame),
Abner's Ark diary, a pencil, his little whisk broom,
probably the headpiece to the staff of Ra, and his pocketknife.

Wow, with all that crap in there, who needs a bullwhip? Just fling
that bag around and you can knock anybody out.

Amazingly enough, though, the bag looks suspiciously empty in just
about every scene!

As for TOD and Crusade... aah, I'll let someone else answer that one.
