They still do , in a way. I met Lash myself when he came to my hometown of Portsmouth, Ohio for Roy Rogers day. Old Roy was originally from Portsmouth, and his sister (who recently passed away) was visited quite often by him. The are decided to have a Roy Rogers festival each year, and Roy was able to attract a lot of his old friend. The Virginian came, Robert Fuller, Lash LaRue, among others rode in the parades for many years. The festival still takes place, but the old time Western heros are dieing out, and the attendance has fallen way off since Roy's passing. Sad. Regards. Michaelson
